Sligro Food Group wins Best Investor Relations 2014 Award

The Dutch Association of Investor Relations (NEVIR) awarded Sligro Food Group on 7 January, with the IR Award 2014 in the category 'ASCX'.

An independent jury assessed the nominees based on several criteria: 

•     Accessibility IR department and management
•     Active communication with the investment community
•     Added value / knowledge of the IR professional / department
•     Transparency of communication: press releases, presentations, website, annual report
•     Continuity and resistances disclosure
•     Meet or even drop of Best Practices

Comment of the jury: "Sligro Food Group has been a small cap company with an IR policy that goes beyond a typical small capper. The establishment of a Capital Markets Day is a good example. The keywords: accessible, consistent, realistic, transparent and sharp are all applicable. A real winner. "
