Sales Sligro Food Group in 2013


Sligro Food Group sales in 2013 amounted to €2,498 million, an increase of 1.3% compared with sales in 2012 of €2,467 million.

Sligro Food Group wins Award Excelly 

Best Brands Dutch Institute named Sligro Food Group has one of the winners of the Excelly Award. These are the ten best designed annual reports of companies listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. Sligro Food Group was the winner in the category ASCX. 

Creative and reflection
The winning annual reports according to Best Dutch Brands Institute are not only creative, but their design reflects the organization. The winning companies realize that most of their audience only reads parts of the annual report and therefore use tools such as icons, quotes and information boxes. The main topics are covered in the first 10 pages and photographs used to tell a story to convey the message or pursuing.

Sligro wins FoodService Awards

On December 2, Sligro has won the first FoodService Award in de category overall wholesalers. The jury calls Sligro a real allrounder.  

Sligro scored a 7.47 over the five assessment categories. Together with fifteen nationally operating wholesalers Sligro was assessed by suppliers and outlet formulas on five criteria
(product range , innovation , operational excellence , knowledge , cooperation).

Jury report

With a score of 7.47 Sligro remains wholesaler Huuskes from Enschede. The jury report shows that Sligro is a real all-rounder is. Willem-Jan Strijbosch, Director Foodservice Sligro Food Group : "We didn't know we were nominated. But if you are in the game, you want to win. On the part 'cooperation' Sligro was the undisputed number one . "It fits very well with our positioning. We try to find solutions together with our customers. We are transparent.

The FoodService Research Awards is an initiative of magazine Misset Horeca . EFMI Business School is responsible for the research that underlies the FoodService Awards. The whole is supported by the FoodService Institute (FSIN). 

 

Trading Update third quarter 2013 

Sligro Food Group N.V. sales for the first three quarters of 2013 (39 weeks) were €1,849 million, an increase of 1.9% (Q3: 2.6%) compared with sales of  €1,815 million in the same period in 2012.

New construction Sligro Bezorgservice in Berkel en Rodenrijs 

Friday, October 11, 2013 mayor Van Vliet from Lansingerland and Koen Slippens, CEO of Sligro Food Group, signed the agreement for a business plot of approximately four acres on the ' Business Park Old Country 2' in Berkel en Rodenrijs.

Sligro will build an ultra-modern and sustainable Sligro Delivery on 'Business Park Old Country 2' , located on the N471 .

CEO Koen Slippens : "Due to the excellent access to the A12 , A13 , A20 and the strategic location, we have decided to settle here our Sligro Delivery, for customers in the Hague-Rotterdam region. With this new building, we have the ability to contribute to achieving our sustainability goals. For example, the property has no gas central heating system. Heating is controlled entirely by using waste heat from the refrigeration system.

 

 

EMTÉ Supermarkets has the best butchery and bakery 

In the annual survey by GfK on behalf of Food Magazine, to survey the performance of the Dutch supermarkets fresh field, EMTÉ won the awards for the best supermarket with the best butchery and supermarket with the best bakery. 

GfK measured the customer appreciation for offers, low prices, quality / freshness and choice. This measurement is expressed in a score. Read the full report from GfK (in Dutch).

Half-year figures 2013: net profit €26 million

The net profit for the first six months was more than €26 million, up 2.3% compared with the corresponding period in 2012.  

Sales in the first half of 2013 amounted to €1,229 million, an increase of 1.5%. On a like-for-like basis, sales growth was flat. Read more in the press release below or watch the explanation on video.

Trading Update first quarter 2013 

Sligro Food Group N.V.'s sales in the first quarter of 2013 (13 weeks) were €589 million, an increase of €12 million or 2.0% compared with the same period in 2012 (€577 million). Almost all of the growth was organic.
